ASIA PACIFIC MISSION FOUNDATION
By-Laws & Mission Statement
The name of the organization shall be the Asia Pacific Mission Foundation
Asia Pacific Mission Foundation is an international organization dedicated to the spiritual, medical & educational needs of the Asia Pacific Region. The foundation shall fulfill its mission through:
2.1 The establishment of a strong network of associates dedicated to the Asia
2.2 The development and promotion of professional standards consistent with
2.3 Continuing education for ministry leadership in the Asia Pacific Region
2.4 Such other activities as the membership shall adopt.
3.1 Application for membership must be made in writing consistent with the forms provided in this document. The membership shall conform and contribute to the Mission of the society as defined in Section 2.
3.2 After submission, the Secretary must refer the application to the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors will place the item on the agenda for the next scheduled Board meeting. The Board of Directors must determine whether to accept or reject the application. The Board of Directors will inform the Secretary of the approval or rejection of the organization application. The Secretary will inform the organization no later than 10 days from determination in writing.
3.3 The Secretary shall keep and maintain a register of members containing name, address and organizational affiliation of each member and the date on which organization was accepted as a member. The register shall be available for inspection by any member upon request.
4. Board of Directors:
4.1 Board Members will be appointed by the membership. Each member organization shall be allowed 1 Board member and one additional Board member for each year that organization provides donations of $ 50,000.00 or more.
4.2 Two Board Members will be chosen from the Asia Pacific Region of which the Mission is to support.
4.3 Board Members will commit to the Asia Pacific Mission Foundation the time & resources required to conform and contribute to the Mission of the Foundation as defined in Section 2.
4.4 Board Members who do not attend three meetings during any year either in person or by conference call will be asked to resign from the organization and the member organization asked for a replacement.
