Doug Lovgren

VICE PRESIDENT/ SECRETARY

Doug Lovegren serves as the North Region Leader of the San Diego Church of Christ and his wife Mae. They met in the campus ministry while attending San Diego State University. After graduating in 1995, they dove head first into life together as Campus Ministers for the Southwest US, and the adventure hasn’t stopped.

They moved to Las Vegas in 2003 to continue their journey out of the full-time ministry and began a fresh new chapter. In August of 2008, the Lovgrens packed up. They answered the call by God to lead the ministry in Cerritos, California, serving as Evangelist and Women’s Ministry Leader for the Los Angeles International Church of Christ for eight years.

Having served in campus, youth, professional singles, and family ministries, they returned to San Diego in July of 2016 where their journey began many years ago.

Doug loves to empower people to use their gifts and talents to make a difference for Christ in the world around them. 

They have been married for over 21 years and have two amazing sons Jaxon and Jeric.
